Lochranza and Catacol Village Hall is the community hall for the two picturesque villages of Lochranza and Catacol at the north end of the Isle of Arran. The hall is in a beautiful setting on the shores of  Loch Ranza overlooking the ruins of the 12th Century castle. It was opened on the 7th April 2001, replacing the old hall built in 1920. Our new hall is spacious with modern facilities. Outside, you will find a lovely community garden open to all as a place to sit and enjoy the colourful and varied plants that grow profusely in this sheltered corner of the glen. The hall is managed by a committee of volunteers and a lively programme of events and activities is offered around the year. See events for more details.

A wonderful wedding venue

Lochranza and Catacol Village Hall can be booked  privately for special occasions such as weddings and family get-togethers. Apart from being a stunning backdrop to photographs, the hall has excellent facilities including a new kitchen. If you are planning to get married click here for weddings information.
